Chris Wittemyer: Chris Wittemyer has been working as a real estate broker in Steamboat Springs since 1996. A Colorado native, Chris grew up in Boulder before attending Southern Methodist University and the University of Colorado School of Law where he met his wife, Elizabeth. Chris and Elizabeth raised two daughters, Sarah and Elena, who are graduates of Steamboat Springs High School and are now launching their own lives. Chris has worked on numerous developments around Steamboat and Stagecoach over the years in addition to assisting hundreds of clients with their real estate needs in northwest Colorado. In his spare time, you’ll most likely find Chris on a river or mountain enjoying the Colorado outdoors. Chris and Hugh Jessiman will be forming a team at The Group Real Estate to work with buyers and sellers to achieve their goals in this special community they call home.

Hugh Jessiman: Hugh Jessiman grew up back East attending Bowdoin College and receiving his MBA from Boston College. He moved to Steamboat because of his love of skiing and fly fishing. Hugh has an extensive background in social media and digital marketing from heading up operations for a start up in Denver. He has excelled in the startup world at other entrepreneurial ventures and knows what it’s like to build a company or a house from scratch Hugh had a special relationship with the founder/owner of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills, sitting in on 20 years of the Draft Room and being the top salesperson for his Silicon Valley TV station. Home building, landscaping and interior design are facets of his real estate expertise Hugh has honed. He is thrilled to be part of Colorado Group Realty’s team and prides himself on his hard work and attention to detail. He really likes working with first time buyers where he can call on the organizational and networking skills he has developed across his professional career. His “office” is Steamboat itself—whether he is in our building or out on the Yampa for a weekend trout meeting—he is always available to assist his clients. Hugh prides himself on the real friendships he has made with home buyers, sellers and others enjoying the wonderful life here in Steamboat. Hugh has a competitive streak a mile wide—whether cheering on the Red Sox from afar or fighting to get his clients the absolute best home on the very best terms.
