Kara grew up in Fort Collins, attended CU Boulder, and lived in Evergreen before settling in Steamboat Springs in 2014 with her husband, Kris. Drawn by the dream of raising their family in the Yampa Valley, they’ve never looked back. Their two children, now 15 and 11, are active in the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club—one as a junior coach for ski and bike programs, and the other as a competitive alpine ski racer traveling across the state.
In the warmer months, the Mann family enjoys exploring the area’s vast mountain biking trails, spending time on the river, camping in North Routt, and walking their dog along the many scenic town trails.
