Fort Collins Foodie Walk

The Fort Collins Foodie Walk is a monthly self-guided tour scheduled for the third Friday of the month. Come out and celebrate the culinary scene in downtown FoCo from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Each month, there is an interactive showcase, as well as seasonal flavors and taste experiences that can’t be missed by the discerning connoisseur. The event is free and participating businesses include Happy Lucky’s Teahouse, Mountain Avenue Market, Old Town Spice Shop, and The Welsh Rabbit Cheese Shop. Even if you don’t consider yourself a “foodie,” this is a great way to enjoy downtown and peruse the local offerings with fellow community members.

Lee Brice is coming to Loveland this weekend with special guest Grace Tyler. The country music singer is a Grammy and CMA nominee and has popular radio singles such as: Hard to Love, I Don’t Dance, and Drinking Class. Snag your tickets at the Blue Arena to catch a concert you won’t soon forget. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets are on sale for as little as $39!

Women’s Air Race Classic

The Air Race Classic is the epicenter in the women’s air racing community. Pilots range from 17 to 90+ years old, hailing from a wide array of backgrounds. Previous years have featured students, teachers, doctors, business owners, and air traffic controllers. Each race team consists of at least two women pilots and the task is to fly during daylight hours only from Carbondale, IL to Loveland, CO — making predetermined stops along the route. The event officially begins on June 18th and wraps up on the 21st, meaning Loveland residents and NoCo aviation enthusiasts will have the chance to see pilots land at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport. The 2024 race marks the 47th annual Air Race Classic and is sure to be one worth celebrating!

Summer Solstice Music Festival

Hosted at The Lyric in Fort Collins, this music festival is returning for its fourth year. With 20 local bands across two stages, there will be plenty of live music to enjoy. The event includes vendors, arts and crafts, and more! A few of the performers in the lineup include The Athletics, Plastic Forearm, Neighborhood Watch, Co-Stanza, Veronica May, Hand Turkey, and The Patti Fiasco. Pick up a day pass for $30 or an all-fest pass for $55. Check out upcoming film screenings at The Lyric, as well as musical and cultural events hosted throughout the year.

Northern Colorado Home Show

This three-day event is for anyone and everyone interested in home improvement projects and homeowners looking to gather ideas on home decor and remodeling. The three-day event is totally free and will be hosted at The Ranch Event Complex in Loveland. The hours fluctuate across the weekend, so check the schedule before you head out. This year’s exhibitor list includes Apollo Energy, Astonishing Garage Doors, Champion Windows and Home Exteriors, Galaxy Window Coverings, and GS Exterior Experts. Other nearby home shows are set to be held in Longmont, Greeley, and Arapahoe County.

Bird enthusiasts and amateurs alike are invited to join in on this naturalist guide around the native botanic gardens of Chapungu Park. All ages are welcome and the event is free, though donations are always appreciated. The program meets by the restrooms at 9:00 AM and will be led by guides such as the Fort Collins Audubon Society or Stephen Hornbeck. Enjoy the soapstone sculptures, as well as the native perennials, shrubs, and grasses that wildlife calls home in the region.

SummerFest 2024

Join Historic Larimer County this weekend and take a tour of the 143-year-old neighborhood grocery store on North Meldrum Street and walk around the vintage car show that’s displaying vehicles from 1906 to 1943. There will be music, as well as snacks available for purchase. Starting at 10:00 AM, the 300 block will be shut down for pedestrians to learn about the history of the store. The Longs Peak Chorus will sing four-part harmonies and Needle & Thread Music will be on the porch playing acoustic melodies.

5th Street Block Party

This free outdoor music festival is scheduled for 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Verboten Brewing Project in Loveland. This is the second iteration of the event and organizers have arranged for an incredible lineup of live music, featuring three bands to keep the vibes high all day long. The headlining act of the evening is Colorado’s own The Burroughs — a 9-piece act hailing from Greeley. There will be booths onsite to pour your favorite brews and 477 Distilling will be shaking up some tasty cocktails. Food trucks will also be available for a bite to eat and Josh & John’s Ice Cream truck will be serving up sweet treats.

Estes Park’s Backyard Ultra

Where? 380 Community Drive

This backyard ultra has striking views and challenges runners to complete 4.167 miles in less than one hour every hour — until only a single runner remains to complete a lap. There is no predetermined time limit and the race simply goes until the sole winner is crowned. The race kicks off at 9:00 AM and registration includes a commemorative item, a stocked aid station, and a kid’s area and activities on Saturday. Participants can receive a $25 discount off of registration if they’re an Estes Valley Student, a teacher, a first responder, an active duty military member, or a veteran. If you don’t want to tackle the course, volunteers are always needed as a way to support the event and the runners.

Water Lantern Festival

Voted the #1 water lantern festival — this is an event you won’t want to miss. The gates open at 6:00 PM on Saturday and attendees will have the chance to enjoy food trucks, music, and entertainment while they design their lantern. The lanterns will launch between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM, lighting up the night with an unmatched peaceful beauty. Tickets include a floating lantern kit, an LED candle, a commemorative bag, conversation cards, and the cost of lantern retrieval and water cleanup. Organizers are dedicated to sustainability and the lanterns are crafted from rice paper and wood to be as eco-friendly as possible.

7th Annual Taco Triathlon

Looking to test your physical endurance in a truly unique way? The 7th Annual Taco Triathlon is unlike any other — challenging participants to a 45-minute cycling class, 45 minutes of yoga, and an entire taco from Torchy’s Tacos. Colorado Wine Walk

For the first time in June, the Colorado Wine Walk is headed to Fort Collins. This premier wine festival showcases some of the best wineries around and tickets provide access to an array of samples, as well as a commemorative wine glass, tote bag, and the opportunity to talk to winemakers and vineyard proprietors. The wine walk will also feature live music and food options. The four-hour event in NoCo is scheduled for 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and is hosted by The Exchange by Blanchard Family Wines. General admission begins at $45.00 and can be purchased ahead of time. Participating wineries in Fort Collins include Whitewater Hill Vineyards, Centennial Cellars, and The OBC Wine Project by Odell Brewing.

June Makers Market

Swing by the Teaching Kitchen this Sunday at Ginger and Baker to peruse offerings from local artisans and vendors, including Sawdust and Moore, Mountain Cat Candle Company, Redwood Crystals, and Viola and Beatrice Stationers. This year, The Children’s Entrepreneur Market will join in on the fun by helping young entrepreneurs learn about the business world. This 50-booth vendor market will be open before the movie. Outdoor Mindful Movement Storytime

Join the Old Town Library in Fort Collins between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM for an all-ages storytime. This event is designed to invite little ones and their caregivers to connect with the stories through music and movement. Greeley Recreation’s Family Field Day

Families are invited to join in on the fun at Lincoln Park for this year’s family field day! The event is scheduled for 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with over 15 interactive stations that are suited for individuals of all ages. There will be bounce houses, water games, sack races, crafts, and even a dessert walk! The event is free for kids ages 3 and under and if you pre-register, prices are discounted to $3 for ages 4-12 and $5 for ages 13+. On the day of the field day, an all-ages price of $8 will be in place.
