And, like the rest of the region, the proximity to the Rocky Mountains offers endless outdoor adventure activities – including skiing, hiking, fishing, and boating – for the residents of Johnstown and Milliken.

Health Care - Being located near both Ft. Collins and Greeley offers residents of Johnstown and Milliken the advantage of choice in health care. Both North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley and Poudre Valley Hospital in Ft. Collins are excellent facilities.

Employment - Johnstown and Milliken are surrounded by abundant farmland, which provides the area’s largest source of income. Golden Tech is a manufacturer of corn starch and syrup and Uniscope, a producer of specialty agricultural products are located in Johnstown. However, given the low housing prices (around $150,000 average for single family homes), bucolic and friendly setting, many settle here but commute to the larger surrounding communities such as Greeley and Loveland for work.
